I hear this a lot. Can I push back?

"Not there yet" usually means you're picturing a full-time hire with a desk in your office, or a big retainer that feels scary to commit to. Most virtual assistants aren't offering either. Many have small starter packages built for owners who need a few handfuls of hours a month (and no offense, I don't want a desk in your office 😅).

"But I'm not busy enough to need help"

You don't have to be underwater to benefit from support. But there's a good chance you're spending time on things you shouldn't have to, and it only gets harder to hand those off the longer you wait. I've been there myself, telling myself I'd "just do it tonight after my son is in bed," and then tonight becomes every night, and the work quietly takes over time that was supposed to be for rest or family.

Start small with admin support and grow from there if it makes sense.
